Cregger Selected as New Parks Committee Chair

At its meeting last night, the Aurora Parks Committee voted unanimously to select Stuart Cregger as its new chair and Ronan Feely as vice chair.

The Parks Committee has been chaired by Mayor and former city councilor Brian Asher since it was reconvened last fall. However, Asher is stepping down from his role as chair and as a committee member to focus on his new duties as mayor. He was appointed to that position by the council during its October 8 meeting.

Cregger had previously served as the committee’s vice chair and has also been a member of the city’s budget committee.

Anyone interested in the new open position on the Parks Committee can send a letter of interest to City Hall. They can either be dropped off in person or emailed to recorder@ci.aurora.or.us. The committee meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the council chambers of city hall.
