Human Resources

The mission of the Human Resources Department is to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization through a comprehensive program which provides centralized personnel support for all city departments.

Human Resources is comprised of one full-time staff position.  The Aurora City Recorder is presently responsible for the Human Resources and Risk Management functions of the City along with the City Attorney.

The Human Resources Manager performs a variety of technical, professional, and analytical work involved in the implementation of human resource services to City departments, other agencies, and the general public.

Human Resources staff also address classification, recruitment, selection, and training for the City, which has approximately 5 employees.
