UPDATE: Demolition of Residential Structure by Sutherland Construction

City is moving forward to tear down the house next door to City Hall. This project represents a step in the city’s goal to build a new city hall to cover both lots with parking available.

The contract was approved by Council at its January 2024 meeting.

Be aware this will be a construction zone and watch for signs to stay clear.

NOTICE: The house structure ((21440 Main Street) next to Aurora City Hall will be an active construction site beginning January 29, 2024 with the start of asbestos remediation and demolition to follow.
