City Submits Comments to Aviation Board Regarding Aurora Airport Master Plan Findings

The Oregon Aviation Board held a public hearing on Thursday, October 31 in Sunriver to consider the adoption of findings for the Aurora Airport Master Plan. As part of that process, the City of Aurora submitted several pertinent documents into the record.

The city's official comments were among the documents that were submitted, and that 142-page document is attached below. Those comments were compiled by Planning Commission Chair Joseph Schaefer. He was also present at the hearing and provided testimony. The City Council authorized Schaefer and Council President Tom Heitmanek to speak on the city's behalf on these matters through the passage of Resolution 771 during its September 10 meeting.
