North Marion Community Library Open to Local Residents

The Community Library is open for any resident of Marion County looking for local access to books. Located in the lower level of the Aurora Presbyterian Church at 21553 Liberty St NE, the North Marion Community Library provides around 2,000 books for people of all ages.

The selection includes children’s books, young adult novels and adult books of a large variety. Their books range from subjects about cooking to geography, and even access to movie DVDs. The library’s selection has well-known children’s classics like Anne of Green Gables, J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter magic/fantasy series and titles by the popular teen author, John Green. It is open to improvement and expanding its services and  is always accepting monetary or book donations.

Currently run by a group of volunteers, the library also offers other opportunities for the community, such as:

--Volunteering hours

--A bathroom facility

--A quiet space for reading

--Children’s activities

--Searchable online catalog and holds

--Book drop-off outside of operating hours

It is easy to apply for a free library card and the application is open to any resident of surrounding Aurora communities. Have you been looking to read a new bestselling book or finish a book series? The library is open to suggestions for book purchases.

The library is open Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
