Pay Your Bill

You may stop by City Hall (21420 Main Street), Mon–Thurs., 9am–5pm to pay by cash, check or credit/debit card (there is a $3.50 charge for credit card payments).

  • Please make checks payable to:  City of Aurora
  • A payment drop box is located to the right of the main doors of City Hall if you wish to drop off your payment outside of normal City Hall operating hours.
  • Payments can be mailed to the City of Aurora, 21420 Main St NE, Aurora, OR 97002
  • Credit/debit card payments can also be made online at https://cityofaurora.merchanttransact.com.  You will need to know your full account # (i.e. 001234-000)  and your house #.  A $3.50 convenience charge will be added to the transaction.  Account registration is not required to use this function  
  • If you register your account online at https://cityofaurora.merchanttransact.com you will be able to access your account, look at your balance, track your usage and a lot more.  Another nice feature allows you to choose to receive electronic bills, or both paper and electronic bills instead of just a paper bill.  When you register, you will need your account number (which is located in the upper right-hand corner of your bill in account information i.e. 001234-000) and the customer name as it appears on the bill.

Late Fees:

Payments are due by 5 pm on the 10th of the month. If your payment is late, you will be assessed late fees as follows:

  • Late Notice $15.00
  • Door Hanger $45.00
  • Disconnect Fee $10.00
  • Reconnect Fee $10.00
To End Service:
Please notify the City of Aurora by phone or in person at least 24 hours before you vacate the residence. A final meter read will be done and water will be shut off for final billing purposes.
