Aurora City Hall Administration

The City of Aurora operates under a Strong Mayor form of government. The City Recorder and Finance Officer assist the City Council in the development and formulation of policies, goals, and objectives, and keeps them informed of important community issues.

Citizen concerns, franchise information, copies of the City Code, and requests for general information are just a few of the different types of services that are provided by the Administration Department.

The City Recorder, Finance Officer, Administrative Assistant and Municipal Court Clerk are responsible for managing many aspects of the day to day operations at City Hall.

The City Recorder, Kelly Richardson, acts as records manager, archivist, and secretary to the City Council & Planning Commission as well as the Elections Officer for the City and provides the information link for citizens, the business community, and the elected and appointed officials of the City.

The Finance Officer, Jan Vlcek, manages the finances and budgetary issues of the city along with payroll, audits and invoices.

The Municipal Court Clerk and Administrative Assistant, Mary Lambert, serves as Court Clerk under supervision of the City Recorder.
