Wastewater Treatment & Collection Operator The City of Aurora is seeking a Wastewater Systems Operator.

Applicants should have certifications in Wastewater Treatment I and Wastewater Collection II or be able to obtain those levels within six months of employment.

Applicants need a good working knowledge of a lagoon operation, as well as being mechanically inclined to perform the routine maintenance required for lift stations and aerators.

Some emergency response after hours may be required.

General Public Works experience, including Water System and Street maintenance and interfacing with parts and material suppliers and City residents is also required.

Starting wage range will be between $28K and $34K with benefits. depending upon licensing and experience.
